YouTube’s just launched its free official app for Nintendo’s Wii U. The first thing to notice is that while being able to watch YT videos in HD (1080p), you’ll be able to read video details, comments, etc, on the gamepad screen.
The app is as complete as the options you get in any browser while surfing through youtube.

App Main Features
- All shorcuts can now be found on the left side of the screen
- All main video categories are already listed by default
- You have the usual options like search, “My Uploads”,
- In order to sign in, you need to go to www.youtube.com/activate and enter the code that shows up in your gamepad
- Once you are logged in, all your subscriptions will show up on the left side as well.
